QUETTA: Balochistan Home Minister Mir Zia Langau has said that complete peace and order will be ensured in the province.

“Every possible step will be taken for the protection of life and property of people,” he said while presiding over a meeting.

Also attended by Chief Secretary Mather Niaz Rana, Inspector General of Police Mohammad Tahir Rai and Additional Chief Secretary Home Arshad Majeed, the meeting reviewed the overall law and order situation in the province.

The home minister directed the top officials to take consistent steps to improve the law and order situation.

He said indiscriminate action would be taken against the law-breakers to protect the life and property of the people.

Police and other law enforcement agencies should work diligently to crack down on criminal elements, he said.

Mr Langau directed the authorities concerned to further tighten security at important places.
