ISLAMABAD, Oct 19: The Election Commission of Pakistan on Wednesday restored the membership of four MNAs and 15 MPAs after they submitted their statement of assets and liabilities.

MNAs Shujaul Mulk, Makhdoom Syed Ahmed Alam Anwar, Dr Sair Tariq and Nasim Akhter Chaudhry (elected on reserved seats for women) submitted their statement of assets and liabilities.

On Tuesday the Election Commission had suspended the membership of 21 members of the National Assembly and 71 of the provincial assemblies for not submitting the mandatory annual statement of assets and liabilities before the commission.

The members of the Punjab Assembly who filed their statements are: Syed Mohammad Taqleed Raza Shah, Major (retd) Asghar Hayat Kalyar, Arshad Mehmood Bagu, Mian Khalid Mehmood, Chaudhry Mohammad Arshad, Malik Noman Ahmad Langrial, Mumtaz Hussain, Tahir Iqbal and Joseph Hakim Din (elected on the reserved seat for non-Muslims).

Likewise the members of the NWFP Assembly are: Ibrahim Khan, Amir Rehman, Maulana Qari Gul Azeem Khan, Habibur Rehman and Syed Mohammad Ali Shah, whereas Nawabzada Mir Balach Khan Marri from the Balochistan Assembly submitted his statement of assets and liabilities.
