LAHORE: Over 150 feeders of Lahore Electric Supply Company (Lesco) tripped owing to windstorm amid light shower, leaving various parts of Lahore and Kasur without light for a couple of hours.

However, the Lesco field teams energised most of feeders, including 35 in Lahore and rest in Kasur rural areas, restoring electricity supply before Iftar, according to a spokesperson for the company.

“We restored supply to 90 per cent affected areas before Iftar. And the electricity to rest of the areas also restored later,” the spokesperson told Dawn.
