BD apparel firm opens outlet

KARACHI, Oct 19: A Bangladeshi firm Beximco, makers of bone china ceramics and has a vertically integrated fashion apparel facility in Dhaka, opened its first outlet here on Tuesday.

Senate chairman Mohammedmian Soomro inaugurated the outlet. Speaking on the occasion he said that investment by the Bangladeshi firm was in response to the number of incentives given by the government to attract and facilitate foreign investors.

Beximco chief executive Syed Naved Hussain said that company had plans to open outlets across the country and was committed to bring its international brands of men and women wears to Pakistan.

He said that two outlets would be opened in Karachi, two in Lahore and one in Islamabad.
