NAROWAL: Police have arrested three people for raping a 16-year-old girl.
“My niece was leaving her house at 8pm on March 17 to go to her uncle Muhammad Tariq’s house,” said Shaukat Ali, a labourer from Badha Dharg village near Narowal. In the dark of night, he said, three thugs abducted the girl and took her to a nearby field where they raped her.
Shaukat said the suspects left the girl outside the house as her condition was critical. The regional police officer ordered arrest of the suspects and the Qila Ahmedabad police arrested Nasir Ali, Muhammad Irfan and Hassan Ali and registered a case against them.
