KHAIRPUR, Jan 22: A seminar was held here at Pacca Chang on Saturday to discuss the complaints of women councillors and devise ways and means for their better performance.

The seminar was attended by women councillors of seven union councils of taluka Faiz Ganj including women councillors from the taluka and district Khairpur councils.

It was presided over by Fahmeeda Chang, woman councillor of the district council, while Akhtar Hussain Rajpar, Nazim of taluka Faiz Ganj, was the chief guest.

The women councillors complained that they were being neglected in the development works, Zakat distribution and other affairs.

A woman councillor complained that the teachers did not attend the school in village Photo Chang due to which children were suffering.

Azizan and Sohni told the seminar that in taluka Faiz Ganj there was no irrigation water.
