HYDERABAD, Jan 22: Hundreds of workers of the All Pakistan Clerks Association (Apca) brought out a rally from the Barrage Colony here on Tuesday to express solidarity with President Gen Pervez Musharraf and the armed forces of Pakistan.

The rally after marching on main city roads terminated at the Hyderabad press club.

While speaking at the rally, the Apca leaders Mohammad Ashraf, Noor Mohammad Shaikh, Ali Shah Lakyari, Khalid Hussain, Obedullah and others said that Pakistan was a peace loving country and it wanted peace in the region. However, they said, if war was thrust on Pakistan by India, it would be given a befitting reply.

They assured President Gen Pervez Musharraf and the armed forces that they would fights side by with the armed forces against the enemy.

They called upon international organizations to take notice of the state terrorism of India against the repressed people of Kashmir and stop the genocide of the Kashmiri people.

They also burnt the effigies of the Indian Prime Minister and Balthackray.
