LAHORE: Noor-ul-Amin has been elected as the new president of the Punjab Squash Association (PSA) in an extraordinary general council meeting held here on Friday.

The elections were held under the supervision of the Pakistan Squash Federation and it resolved the dispute between two warring groups.

Last month, two groups, one headed by Noor-ul-Amin and second by Omar Saeed, announced their own groups representing the genuine body of the PSA.

To resolve the issue, the Pakistan Squash Federation took a decision to hold fresh elections after both the groups agreed to the proposal.

Office-bearers: Noor-ul-Amin (president), Sheraz Saleem (senior vice-president), Imran Mukhtar Ch., Omer Masud, Miss Tania Malik, Jamshed Fakhri, Haider Aziz Sheikh (vice-presidents), Tariq Saddiq Malik (secretary), Rizwan Zahoor (treasurer).
