BAHAWALNAGAR: The Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) arrested on Friday the District Headquarters Hospital additional medical superintendent receiving bribe.

Dr Waheed Afsar Bajwa, who has worked in the Bahawalnagar DHQ in various capacities, has recently been given the charge of the AMS office.

ACE Assistant Director (Investigation) Adnan Asif Bhutta told Dawn that Ahmed Hassan, a resident of Bonga Machi, in an application told the ACE that to implicate him in a case, a fake MLC was issued from the DHQ.

He alleged that the AMS had demanded Rs40,000 to change the MLC in his favour.
