RAWALPINDI: Following complaints against the staff of the Establishment Branch and the B branch, dealing with promotions and service record of the police personnel, the City Police Officer on Friday ordered replacement of the entire staff comprising 46 individuals of both the branches.

A police spokesman said in a press release that the order City Police Officer Mohammad Ahsan Younis had come into effect immediately on Friday.

The move by the CPO came about after some police officials as well as some citizens complained about the staff during “open katchery” at his office.

The establishment and the B branch deal with promotions, service record and deputation issues of the police officials.
