Tariq, Faraz spin OCC to victory

KARACHI, Oct 17: Spinners Tariq Murad and Faraz Ahmed Khan shared six wickets between them to spin Omer CC (OCC) to 48-run win over Pakistan Cable Ltd (PCL) in Aga Khan Gymkhana Twenty20 Cup Ramzan cricket tournament at AKG Ground on Monday.

Right-arm leg-spinner Tariq grabbed three wickets for 10 runs and left-arm spinner Faraz Ahmed Khan captured three for 23 to spin out PCL for 102 in 19.1 overs.

Helped by an aggressive 54 off 43 balls with five fours and a six by Daniyal Ahsan and Tariq Murad’s 30 with two sixes, OCC mustered 150 all out in 19.4 overs.
