CHAGAI: Iran deported another 134 illegal Pakistani migrants via Taftan border on Wednesday.

According to official sources, the migrants were arrested in different parts of Iran for not having valid travel documents. The Iranian officials handed over the deportees to personnel of Pakistan Levies at the Raahdari Gate.

Later, the Federal Investigation Agency took over their custody for further investigation.

Of the 134 migrants, 112 belong to Punjab, 21 to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and one to Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

Meanwhile, the Levies authorities handed over to Iranian officials another 39 people who did not have national identity cards.

They would be received again once their nationality is proved, sources told Dawn.
