LAKKI MARWAT: A woman and a boy were killed and two others sustained wounds in separate firing incidents in Bannu district on Saturday.

The police said the woman was shot dead over a domestic dispute in Harcha Kallay area in the limits of Haved police station. They said that two relatives of the deceased woman were injured in the firing incident.

The killer identified as Nigar Khan, a police constable, escaped the scene after the incident.

In the second shooting incident, a 15-year-old boy, Umer Khan was shot dead in Hasni Darashah area. The murder incident took place in the jurisdiction of Basyakhel police station.

The killers managed to escape, while the body was shifted to the DHQ hospital for autopsy.

The police said that Aqib Khan, a brother of the deceased, nominated Noor Badshah and Shah Faisal in the FIR for the offence.

Separately, a teenage boy committed suicide by shooting himself dead in Hasni Kalan area of Basyakhel.

The body of the deceased, Jaseem Khan, 19, was handed over to relatives after fulfilling medico-legal formalities in the district headquarters hospital.
