HAFIZABAD, Oct 16: A woman was shot dead and her teenaged daughter was injured in Ramkey Chattha village, about 16 kilometres from here on Sunday. Reports reaching here said that deceased’s husband Arshad Ahmad and his brother Sarfraz Husain wanted to sell their land, but she opposed.
On Sunday, Sarfraz along with his accomplices came to the house of his brother and opened fire on Shehnaz and her daughter.
As a result, Shehnaz died on the spot while her daughter sustained injuries. She was shifted to hospital.
