MQM activist killed

KARACHI, Oct 16: An activist of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) was killed and a shopkeeper injured in sniper fire in the Lines Area on Sunday.

According to Edhi information sources, the MQM activist Guddu visited the shop of Wazeer at around 11.15 pm on Sunday night when some unknown persons opened fire at them.

Both Guddu and Wazeer were rushed to the Civil Hospital for treatment. Home Minister Rauf Siddiqui also reached the hospital to inquire about the health of the sniper victims. Guddu later died from his injuries.—Staff Reporter
