KARACHI: The Pakistan Day Sports Festival Girls basketball event will be held here at the Arambagh-Abdul Nasir courts on Tuesday in which four teams will participate.
The four teams have bee named as Fatima Jinnah XI, Benazir Bhutto Shaheed XI, Rana Liaquat Ali Khan XI and Ruth Fao XI. The matches will start at 4:00am.
Later, a Pakistan Day boys basketball match will also be played between Chaudhry Rahmat Ali XI and Moulvi Fazl-e-Haq XI.
Ranger Commandant Col Waqas Qureshi will be the chief guest on the occasion while Metropolitan Commissioner KMC Afzal Zaidi will preside over the prize distribution ceremony.
The final of the ongoing Malik Shahid Hamid Shaheed basketball tournament will later be held at 7:30pm.
