HYDERABAD: Shoaib Khan of Pakistan Airforce created a major upset of the here on Monday when he eliminated second seed Muzammil Murtaza of Wapda in the semi-final of the Men’s Singles event at Hyderabad Gymkhana Pakistan Day Men’s Tennis Championship being played at at Hyderabad Gymkhana courts. Sohaib won 4-6,7-6, 6-3.

In the other semi-final, Aqeel beat Mohammad Abid 2-6, 6-4, 6-3.

In the doubles, Aqeel and Shoaib beat Saad Baloch and Umer Kazi 2-6, 6-1, 10-8 while Muzammil and Mudassir overcame M Abid and Heera Ashiq 3-6, 7-6, 10-6.
