Islamabad Deputy Commissioner Hamza Shafqaat has said that 747 new coronavirus cases were detected in the capital today which, according to him, is the highest number of daily infections ever recorded in the city.
In a tweet, he said the district administration had started a "crackdown on SOP (standard operating procedures) violations".
"Stay safe ever and follow the sops plz," he advised.
