LAHORE: The Punjab Board Committee of Chairmen (PBCC) on Saturday announced the schedule of examinations for matriculation and intermediate classes.

According to the schedule, the matriculation examinations would start from May 4 and the result would be announced on Aug 31 while intermediate exams would start on June 12 and the result would be declared on Sept 30.

Meanwhile, Lahore Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) had constituted teams to conduct examination and implement coronavirus standard operating procedures (SOPs).

The teams would visit exam centres to monitor the situation there and they would get additional allowance to implement the Covid protocol.

BISE Lahore would provide transportation service to the teams for visiting the exam centres. BISE Secretary Owais Saleem said the board would have to complete the examination within 30 days.
