Shuttlers for Indian capital

ISLAMABAD, Oct 13: Pakistani shuttlers are to take part in the Asian Satellite badminton tournament being held in New Delhi between Oct 20-23.

Those who will compete in the individual event are Wajid Ali, Zeehsan Umar, Waqas Ahmed, Tahir Ishaq, Muhammad Shabbar, Zafar Ali, Muhammad Ijaz, Rizwan Azam, Muhammad Atif and Hashir Bashir.

On the girls’ side, Ayesha Akram, Uzma Butt, Asma Butt and Sara Mohmand will be featuring in the tournament.

Usman Afridi has been named manager of the party with Tariq Farooq the coach. The team will leave on Oct 18 by train from Lahore.
