UC nazim shot dead

SIALKOT, Oct 13: Nazim-elected of union council Ballaanwala, Haji Muhammad Arshad, was shot dead by three unidentified people in his friend’s shop in the Kotli Behram locality here on Thursday evening.

Haji Arshad, 46, was sitting in the shop of Haji Ehsan when the gunmen opened fire, killing the former on the spot and injuring the latter seriously.

The killers fled from the scene firing in the air.

The injured man was admitted to hospital in critical condition.

The Civil Lines police have registered a case with no arrest.
