LAHORE: Two men were injured on Tuesday by string of stray kites in the city; one in Misri Shah and the other in Muslim Town areas.

According to the initial police inquiries, Mobin Ali, who was on a motorbike, suffered a deep cut when the string of a stray kite brushed his neck in Misri Shah. He was immediately shifted to hospital where doctors applied stitches to his neck.

Similarly, in Muslim Town area, Usama was hospitalised with wounds inflicted by kite string.

The condition of both the injured persons was stated to be stable.

The police authorities claimed that action has been ordered against the police officers concerned for their failure to check kite flying in their respective areas.
