BAJAUR: The Bajaur district administration imposed micro-smart lockdown in an area of the Khar subdivision following emergence of fresh Covid-19 cases, said a notification issued here on Sunday.

It stated that in view of the detection of positive cases of Covid-19, the administration in consultation with the health department has imposed a micro-smart lockdown in Bai China locality.

It said the restriction had been imposed in the larger public interest to prevent the spread of virus. However, the statement did not mention the number of coronavirus cases detected in the area.
