KARACHI: Ibrahim Iltifat, M. Ali, Nadir Bachani bt M. Ahmed, Asif Bachani of Hyderabad and Farhan Altaf beat their respective rivals in the men’s singles second round at the the inaugural KC Premier Cables Sindh Ranking Tennis Championship which commenced here at Karachi Club on Wednesday.

In the ladies singles first round, Amna Sherwani crusied past Aysha Yousuf while Marium Shaihid made shortwork of Dominique to win 6-0, 6-1.

In the under-17 event, M Ibrahim and Mikaeel Baig won their matche with eas while in the under-13 event, Dhruf Das and Ibrahim Sajjad also outplayed their rivals

Mohammad Khan, Head of Islamic Banking Habib Metropolitan Bank, was the chief guest on the opening while international table tennis player Arif Khan (Pride of Performance) and Javed Karim were the guests of honour.

Arif Mithani, President Karachi Club, and Amin Merchant Secretary KC, Muhammad Aslam Khan, president KCSA, Syed Sakhawat Ali and Ghulam Yasim were also present.
