BAHAWALNAGAR: Two brothers were shot dead over enmity at Chak165/7-R on Monday.

According to the Faqeerwali police, Imran Sarwar, an army offi cial, and his brother Usman Haider were going somewhere when their rivals, identifi ed as Ilyas, Mansha and Ishaq, opened fi re on them near Chak 165/7-R graveyard.

Police said the two brothers died on the spot while the suspects, who were also siblings, fl ed the scene. Police said the victim, Usman Haider, had allegedly killed a brother of the attackers two years back in a long-standing dispute. The suspects are still at large.
