TOBA TEK SINGH, Oct 10: A Gojra union council naib nazim was kidnapped on Monday from his house. Chaudhry Mohammad Younas was sleeping in his house in Chak 97-JB near Gojra when Zulfiqar Ali Mutt along with two accomplices knocked at the door at 2am.
They said former tehsil nazim Khalid Javed Warraich had come to see him. As soon as the naib nazim came out of the house, Zulfiqar Mutt and accomplices bundled him into their car and escaped.
DIE ON ROAD: Two people were killed in separate road accidents in Gojra on Monday.
Milkman Akbar Ali was coming to Gojra from Chak 96-JB when a bus hit him near Chak 363-JB on the Gojra-Faisalabad Road. He died on the spot. Six-year-old Majid Ali was crushed to death by a bus while crossing the Gojra-Khidderwala Road in Chak 241-GB.
