PESHAWAR, Jan 21: Two young girls died of burns after a fire broke out in a newly-established Afghan refugee camp at Sada, Lower Kurram Agency, on Sunday night. The fire also damaged several tents.

The fire, caused by a oil stove, broke out in a tent in Azgharo Camp, Sada, which soon spread to others tents.

Two sisters, Fauzia, aged 10, and Nazo, aged 13, died of burns when they were trapped in the fire.

The United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) and the Afghan Commissionerate recently shifted about 150 displaced Afghan families from the Jalozai camp near Peshawar to Azgharo camp.
