Malir Gymkhana triumph

KARACHI, Oct 9: Malir Gymkhana, inspired by a sparkling half-century from Test reject Farhan Adil, trounced Baqai Dolphins by six wickets in the Aga Khan Gymkhana Twenty20 Cup Ramazan cricket tournament on Sunday.

Farhan, the Man-of-the-Match, scored 52 with four boundaries as Malir Gymkhana reached their target of 153 in 19.4 overs.

Meanwhile, Universal Cables were declared winners after being given a walkover by Asghar Ali Shah Memorial CC who fail to turn up for the match at the appointed time earlier in the day.
