‘Extraordinary’ object spotted in sky: PIA

KARACHI: The Pakistan International Airlines has confirmed that the captain of a Lahore-bound commercial flight, PK-304, had spotted “an extraordinary object” hovering in the sky in the airspace between Multan and Sahiwal on January 23.
A PIA spokesman said that the captain saw something over 1,000 feet above his aircraft, which was at an altitude of 35,000 feet, and he made a video which was circulating on social media.
“It is too early to say for sure what he had actually witnessed. It cannot necessarily be a flying saucer,” he said, adding that the captain had immediately reported the incident and it was being looked into as per the standard operating procedures.
Geo News, meanwhile, reported that the unidentified flying object spotted by the pilot at 4.30pm was “extremely bright” despite the presence of sunlight.

Minimum orbit for satellites starts from 160 km. Flying at 35k ft means 10 km high. Spotting such satellite, doesn't seem right. Weather balloon can go till 39 kms. Speed of object seems 0 and flight speed is about 600 km/h.In 40 sec clip,10 kms were covered.Object about 1000 ft or 0.3 km apart, did not zap by and looked same in 40 sec. Thus there are 2 possibilities;
1. It was balloon.
2. Distance was incorrect and object looking static with such size;so it might be a planet, moon(most likely).

It's too small or too far for the camera to focus, so no shape is known. All we have is a light. No changes in trajectory or speed. At that time of day sunlight can hit bottom of a high object.
Almost certainly weather balloon.
Also report says Multan Twitter says Karachi, report suggests from plane, video is clearly from ground.
