Shaheen, Kamran excel

KARACHI, Oct 8: A fine half-century by Shaheen Malik inspired A.O. Blues to a 47-run win over AKG Greens in the Aga Khan Gymkhana Twenty20 Ramazan cricket tournament at the AKG Ground on Saturday.

Shaheen, opening the innings, struck five boundaries in making 55 as A.O. Blues scored 163 for eight.

AKG Greens, in reply, were bowled out for 116 with Hammad claiming three for eight.

In another match, Rangers CC beat Shekhani Sports by 26 runs largely due to a handy all-round performance by Kamran Hussain, who contributed 40 and captured three for 12 with his off-spinners.
