Five races at KRC

KARACHI: A five-race card has been dished out for the winter Gymkhana race meeting which takes place at the Karachi Racecourse on Sunday.

Five horses are in contention for the day’s feature event — combined top scale order I and II — to be run over five furlongs.

The feature event is the last race in racing order.

A race earlier nine horses will battle it out for honours in the supporting race, scale order IV to be gone over four-and-a-half furlongs.

Meanwhile, a pair of horses will make their debut on Sunday. They includes bay mare Sehar Princess and bay horse Jhoom Sayeen. Both are bracketed in the first race.

The first race starts at 2:00pm.

Golra Pride 9-4, Faster (Late Princess of Arab) 9-1, Who is Next 8-12, Experience (Late Jackson) 8-6, Well Wisher 8-5, Hawwaam 8-2, Public Fancy 7-13, Shabnam 7-13, Little Darling 7-10, Chase Me Not 7-10.

Win: Who is Next.

Place: Public Fancy and Golra Pride.
