NAROWAL: Seven people were seriously injured in a collision between a bus and a loaded mini-truck due to poor visibility caused by heavy fog and speeding on Narowal-Shakargarh Road, near Mandi Khel bus stop on Wednesday.

According to Rescue 1122, a bus coming from Lahore collided with a mini-truck near Mandi Khel stop because of poor visibility. As a result, seven persons were seriously injured who were identified as Zulfiqar Ali, Zohaib Ali, Anwarul Haq, Abdul Rashid, Qamar Ali, Ansar Ali and Abdullah.

The Rescue 1122 teams, called to the scene, provided medical aid to the injured persons and shifted them to the district headquarters hospital for treatment.

Dr Muhammad Bilal, who was on duty in the hospital’s emergency ward, said the condition of two of the injured was critical.
