LARKANA, Oct 7: Celebrating the landslide victory in the local body polls in the Larkana district, the Pakistan Muslim League took out a big procession from Aliabad, the native village of Sindh Minister Haji Altaf Unnar, to the city on Friday.

District Nazim-elect Mohammed Bakhsh Arijo and Taluka Nazim-elect Qurban Abbasi led the procession which after marching on the main roads of the city culminated at the Jinnah Bagh.

“People’s Party Parliamentarians leaders are doing politics in the name of martyrs”, they said, referring to the PPP founder, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and his murdered sons, Mir Murtaza Bhutto and Shahnawaz Bhutto.

“Instead of carrying out development schemes the PPP leadership filled their tummies and coffers”, they alleged.

They said the result of the local body polls spoke of the volume of the trust shown in the PML.

They expressed their gratitude to the people of Larkana for reposing their trust, what they called, “a new leadership”.

They claimed that “the new leadership” would initiate development works in the district and people would feel the difference.

They said the PML would take along all political parties for running day-to-day affairs as it believed in serving the people without discrimination.
