LAHORE, Oct 6: Lahore Development Authority director-general Tauqir Ahmed Faiq has ordered computerization of transfer of plots in all LDA housing schemes. Inaugurating the computerization of transfer of plots in Jubilee and Mustafa towns at the LDA Plots Transfer Office here on Thursday, he said the computerization would not only ensure transparency in transfer of plots, but also eliminate chances of bogus transfers.

He was informed that transfer of plots was not being allowed without the presence of buyers and sellers and verification of their fingerprints from Nadra record. He was further informed that transfer of plots in Jubilee and Mustafa towns would be completed in three weeks in the beginning. The transfer time would, however, be reduced to one week later on.
