Transfers, postings in CBR

ISLAMABAD, Oct 6: The Central Board of Revenue (CBR) has transferred and posted 14 senior officials of customs and excise group. According to the notifications issued on Thursday, S. A. Alam has been promoted to BS-21 officer of Customs and Excise Group and posted as Director General, Directorate General of Training & Research (C&E), Islamabad; Umar Farooq, on promotion to BS-21 posted as Director General, Large Taxpayers Unit, Lahore; Ms. Razia Sultana Taher, on promotion to a BS-21 officer posted as Director General, Directorate General of Customs Valuation & PCA, Islamabad.

Moreover, Abdul Wadood Khan has been transferred and posted as Collector (ST-Enforcement) Large Taxpayers Unit, Lahore; Mrs. Riffat A. Hassan Abidi as Collector, Collectorate of Customs (Port Muhammad Bin Qasim), Karachi.

Other customs officers transferred and posted included Islahuddin Siddiqui, as Additional Collector, Collectorate of Sales Tax & Federal Excise, Karachi; Ms. Muneeza Majeed, Deputy Collector, Collectorate of Sales Tax & Federal Excise, Lahore; Saeed Akram, Deputy Collector, Collectorate of Sales Tax & Federal Excise, Lahore; Dr. Tahir Qureshi, Deputy Director, Direcorate General Training & Research (C&E), Karachi; Hassan Saquib Sheikh, Deputy Director, Directorate General Training & Research (C&E), Islamabad; Muhammad Nadeem Memon, Deputy Collector, Collectorate of Customs, Sales Tax & Federal Excise, Hyderabad; Abdul Qadir Memon, Deputy Director, Directorate General of Customs Valuation & Post Clearance Audit, Karachi; Syed Mohsin Ali Shah, Assistant Collector, Collectorate of Sales Tax & Federal Excise, Karachi.
