GUJRANWALA: The cantonment police on Sunday registered a case against 21 people for resisting administration’s action against sale of dead chicken meat and attacking an official.

Sadar Assitant Commissioner Saria Haider told the media that on receiving complaints about sale of dead chicken meat, a team led by her raided some shops.

She said that during the raid, Sabir Baig, Majid Baig and their 19 accomplices offered resistance and allegedly beather body guard Ejaz Ahmad.

The cantonment police registered a case against the suspects on the complaint of Patwari Muhammad Riaz.

The cantonment police also booked four youngsters for doing a wheelie and speeding on motorcycles.

A police team under the supervision of ASI Naseeruddin found the youngsters doing a wheelie while patrolling on the GT Road and arrested two of them identified as Bilal and Sufyan.

Similarly, another team led by ASI Muhammad Khawar Caught two motorcyclists, Nadeem and Shoaib for racing on the GT Road.
