KARACHI, Oct 5: Four ships, including Capetan Lefteris, carrying 38,000 tons of raw sugar are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where five ships, Sinar Bongtang, APL Jeddah, and Khaipur to unload and load containers, Ryong Gang-2, to offload sugar, and Shalamar to offload crude oil were berthed after the departure of two.

The ships, which departed included Hanjin Busan and Jaipur, while APL Jeddah, Khairpur, Rockaway, Shalamar and Lalazar are due to sail out on Thursday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total tonnage of 0.138m tons comprising 6,882 tons of export cargo and 0.131m tons of import tonnage, including 8,746 tons of sugar, was handled.

The following vessels are due on Thursday: APL Orchid, with containers, Capetan Lefteris, with 38,000 tons of raw sugar, Malto Blosson, with 40,456 tons of rock phosphate, and Ping Jiang, with general cargo.
