KARACHI: Pakistan stock exchange announced the names of recipients of the top-25 companies for the year 2019 in a press release issued on Monday.

The criteria for selection of the top-25 for the year included minimum distribution of 30 per cent (including at least 15pc cash dividend); shares traded at 50pc of the total trading days during the year and that the company was not on the defaulters segment of the exchange or trading was not suspended on account of violation of Listing Companies & Securities Regulations of the Exchange during the said year.

PSX Managing Director Farrukh H. Khan said that further improvement in criteria was made which included focus on total shareholders’ returns rather than just dividends, reporting on diversity and sustainable development goals among other changes.
