SUKKUR: An epileptic mother of five fell down into Bambly Minor when she had a sudden seizure while washing clothes on the canal’s embankment on Tuesday.

Villagers said that Ms Sabra, 35, was washing clothes under a hand-pump which was installed on the embankment when she started having fits.

The woman’s relatives and local divers took out the body after 20 hours of search near Mumtaz Pitafi village and shifted it to Shaikh Hamadan Bin Mohammad taluka hospital in Khanpur Mahar for conduct of post-mortem examination. The deceased was a mother of five children who was a chronic patient of epilepsy.
