LAHORE: Chief Minister Usman Buzdar says the PDM is an enemy to national development but the PTI government will not let opposition’s nefarious designs of disrupting the development process succeed.

This was stated by the chief minister during meetings with Minister of State for Climate Change Zartaj Guland Special Assistant to PM Nadeem Afzal Chan, who called on him at his office on Thursday.

The chief minister said demanding resignation from an elected prime minister was an illegal demand and the PDM should remember that Imran Khan would remain prime minister till 2023. He said the people of Pakistan would again choose the PTI in the 2023 elections and the conspirators remain disappointed.

The chief minister said holding public meetings during coronavirus was a political mistake as it would put the lives of people in danger. Those who speak for the people should review their negative behaviour because no sensible person could think of the public meetings in the prevailing circumstances.

Ms Gul said the chief minister had given a new identity to South Punjab by accelerating the pace of development. On the other hand, she said, the opposition was pursuing the personal agenda and the looters, that played havoc with the country, were now playing with the lives of the citizens.

Mr Chan said the PDM should avoid holding meetings in the larger national interest as putting lives in danger was not a wise decision. FIRDOUS: Special Assistant to CM on Information Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan says the Queen of Jati Umra and her political aides are unnerved after the mini Multan meeting.

In a statement issued here on Thursday, she said the queen and her slaves were in a state of self-deception and fear while the darling prince was sitting pretty. Those, who staged political jugglery, were soon going to become a laughing stock, she added.

Dr Awan said the recent BBC interview of international money launderer Ishaq Dar was self-evident about their falsehood and facts. She said Mr Dar spoke truth out of fear and Sharif’s politics had been exposed again.
