CHAGAI: The Levies Force in Chagai town foiled an attempt to kidnap a teenager by arresting the alleged abductor and recovering the abductee soon after the incident.
Chagai Tehsildar Javed Ahmed Kurd said on Wednesday that the accused, who was later identified as one Malang, was intercepted with the help of local residents near Chagai while moving to his destination on a pick-up truck.
He said the captive teenager, Aziz Ahmed, was handed over to his family after his safe recovery, while the accused was being interrogated.
Mr Kurd said an FIR had been lodged under sections 364A and 511 of the Pakistan Penal Code.
