SUKKUR: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf leader Firdous Shamim Naqvi has demanded IGP Sindh immediately arrest killers of the party leader Sardarzada Sharif Khan Buledi and said if his killers are not nabbed then the party will regard Buledi’s death as a political murder.

He told journalists after offering condolence to heirs of late Buledi in Jacobabad on Sunday that in case of failure in the killers’ arrest, the party would justifiably believe police officials were under pressure of Asif Ali Zardari.

He said that an entire week had elapsed to the PTI leader’s murder still police were clueless about the culprits, which was condemnable. It was very frustrating that despite having footages of the murder suspects in the actual incident police had not been able to arrest the culprits so far, he said.

He said that Buledi, who had also remained a candidate of PTI, had no personal enmity with anyone. PPP was ruling Sindh in the same way as Altaf Hussain used to do in Karachi by spreading a wave of fear, he said and demanded IGP Sindh immediately arrest the killers.

PTI leaders Arsalan Taj, Bilal Ghaffar, Dr Sanjay Sadhwani, Mehmood Khan Moulvi, Mubeen Khan Jatoi and others also visited Buledi House in Jacobabad and offered condolences to the heirs of the bereaved family.

Sardar Sharif Khan Buledi was gunned down by two assailants riding a motorcycle on Shikarpur Road on Monday Nov 24. The assailants fired a burst of bullets on Buledi’s car when he was passing through a locality near Noorani Hotel within the jurisdiction of Civil Lines police station, Jacobabad. he died on the spot.
