ONE can see an increasing number of extravagant advertisements in print and electronic media. Enticing promotions that often fall beyond the domain of reality have earlier led to scams and people need to be cautious about them. A majority of such advertisements are presumably targeted towards low-income people who are more vulnerable to falling in the trap. Is there anyone responsible for keeping a check on misleading advertisements?
