LAHORE: The Millat Park police have arrested a woman a few days after her video clip of aerial firing went viral on social media.

Police also registered a case against the woman for creating panic in the vicinity.

Iqbal Town SP Operation Mohammad Ajmal said the woman, Ayesha, resorted to aerial firing just for fun and it was an unusual incident and said that this culture was now prevailing among women. He said the incident of aerial firing took place three months ago but she uploaded it a few days back.

The video clip of the woman is doing a round on social media and it prompted the police higher-ups to take action against her for violating law.

The SP said police recovered the pistol the woman used and arrested her.
