LAHORE, Sept 30: The opposition parties announced here on Friday that they would approach even the apex court against the election of the ruling party’s candidate for the office of Nishtar Town nazim.

Zahid Akram Nutt, Saad Rafiq, Rana Mashhood, Zaeem Qadri, Zafar Masood Bhatty and others said at a news conference that so far they had not lost hope to get justice.

They said the authorities should endure adherence to the code of conduct or it would become difficult for the opposition to control its workers from showing reaction.—Staff Reporter
