KARACHI, Sept 30: Five ships, including Ryong Gang-2 with 13,000 tons of sugar, are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Saturday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side where seven ships, Johar, to unload crude oil, Thor Captain, Y.M. Faha, Iran Kordestan and PAC Antlia, to unload and load containers, You Mei, to offload DAP fertiliser, and Ajman Trans, to unload vehicles were berthed after the departure of five vessels.

The ships which departed on Friday included Y.M. Energy, Y,M. Faha, Kota Wangi, Morning Sky and CSL Asia, while Ajman Trans, Eax Sanctity, Iron Butterfly, PAC Antlia, Kota Teraju, Golden Express, Serife, Iran Kordestan, New Anhui and Johar are due to sail out on Saturday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves fairly brisk where a total tonnage of 0.118m tons comprising 11,211 tons of export cargo including 3,139 tons of rice and 0.107m tons of import cargo was handled.

The following ships are due on Saturday: Sagamore, Maersk Arizonam Ilse Wuff, with containers, Ryong Gang-2, with 13,000 tons of sugar and Long An Cheng, with general cargo.
