Land dispute claims two lives in Karak

KARAK: A land dispute claimed two lives and left one injured in Tordhand area of Karak tehsil.

Police officials said the rival groups exchanged heavy fire in the suburbs of the Karak city, adding Momin Khan from one group and Saifullah hailing from the other died on the spot. Sher Ghulam, a relative of Momin Khan, received injuries.

The bodies and the injured were shifted to the district headquarters hospital.

Meanwhile, a man, Anwar Saeed Khan, was killed when his tractor plunged into a ravine in Monaka Banda area of Karak tehsil.

The personnel of Rescue 1122 reached the spot and shifted him to the district headquarters hospital, where the doctors pronounced him dead.
