KARACHI, Sept 28: The Divisional Intelligence Office, Excise Karachi, during a raid, seized 2,000 rods of high quality charas from a taxi in Chanesar Goth, an official handout said on Wednesday.

According to details, the Division Intelligence Officer, Excise Karachi, Aslam Jatoi, with a special team on a tip off searched taxi no PG-8708 and seized the drugs worth millions in international market.

The taxi driver Ghaus Bakhs son of Sabal Khan was also arrested.

Preliminary investigation revealed that Muhammad Hanif alias Khanki was the owner of the seized charas.

He is said to bring the drug from Quetta and sell it in Karachi.—PPI
