LAHORE: The Pakistan Air Force, Higher Education Commission, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab reached the National Tray Hockey Championship semi-finals here at the National Hockey Stadium on Wednesday.

In the semi-finals on Thursday, PAF take on Punjab while the HEC lock horns with KP.

On Wednesday, Islamabad defeated Azad Jammu and Kashmir 4-0. Usman Ramzan netted two goals, while Azharullah and Adeel Ahmad added one each.

Mari Petroleum defeated Punjab 2-1. Arshad Liaquat and Muhammad Imran scored one each for the winners. Hanan Shahid netted the only goal for Punjab.

In the day’s last match, the PAF edged out KP 3-2. Rizwan Ali, Mohammad Bilal, and Imran scored for the PAF while Usman Khan and Roman Taimur netted one goal each for the losing side.
