KARACHI, Sept 28: Nine ships, carrying DAP fertilizer, trucks and pig iron, are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where eight ships were berthed. They are: Ever Guard, Eax Sanctity, APL Cairo, to unload and load containers, Seife, to offload coal, Fiti Queen, to unload and load general cargo, Egretta, to load rice, Chem Pisces, to unload oil, and Fu Yuan Kou, to offload 200 cars.

Seven ships, Kota Mesra, Yang Jiang He, Ever Guard, Free Envoy, Angla, Sea Breeze and Wolowati, departed on Wednesday, while Shalamar, Darya Raag, APL Cairo, and Fu Yuan Kou are due to sail out on Thursday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total tonnage of 0.113m tons comprising 9,916 tons of export cargo, including rice and cement and 0.105m tons of import cargo, including 7,223 tons of sugar.

The following ships are due on Thursday: Sifnos Sky, with 25,200 tons of DAP fertiliser, Kota Teraju, Iran Baluchestan, Pac Antlia, Iran Shaharyar, Y.M. Faha, with containers, Ajman Trans, with 124 trucks, Rockaway Belle, with pig iron, and Iron Butterfly, with general cargo.
